About

Football for a Chance (F4aC) is a European Erasmus+ Sport project promoting social inclusion, equality and well-being through football.

The project develops an innovative digital platform that combines educational resources, an interactive map of accessible football facilities and personalised user profiles, creating pathways for participation, learning and career development within the football ecosystem.

By working closely with football clubs, municipalities, organisations and local communities across Europe, F4aC supports the development of a more inclusive, fair and accessible football environment for everyone.

Why the Project Matters

Across Europe, many people face structural, cultural and economic obstacles that limit their participation in football. These barriers include lack of access to facilities, discrimination, gender inequality, limited information, and the absence of inclusive environments within clubs and institutions.

Football for a Chance

responds to these challenges by:

  • Promoting inclusive and gender-sensitive football practices
  • Improving access to education, resources and facilities
  • Strengthening collaboration between communities, clubs and institutions
  • Creating alternative pathways in football, both on and off the pitch

Who the Project Is For

The project targets:

  • Women and girls
  • Migrants, refugees and people from diverse cultural backgrounds
  • Individuals facing socio-economic barriers
  • Football clubs, coaches and sports professionals
  • Municipalities, policymakers and community organisations
